Types of Bacteria in Refrigerated Foods

　　There are two completely different families of bacteria: pathogenic bacteria, the kind that cause foodborne illness, and spoilagebacteria, the kind of bacteria that cause foods to deteriorate and develop unpleasant odors, tastes, and textures.

　　Pathogenic bacteria can grow rapidly in the "Danger Zone," the temperature range between 40 and 140 °F, but they do not generally affect the taste, smell, or appearance of a food. In other words, one cannot tell that a pathogen is present.　　

　　Spoilage bacteria can grow at low temperatures, such as in the refrigerator. Eventually they cause food to develop off or bad tastes and smells. Most people would not choose to eat spoiled food, but if they did, they probably would not get sick. It comes down to an issue of quality versus safety:　　

　　Food that has been left too long on the counter may be dangerous to eat, but could look fine.　　

　　Food that has been stored too long in the refrigerator or freezer may be of lessened quality, but most likely would not make anyone sick. (However, some bacteria such as Listeria monocytogenes thrive at cold temperatures, and if present, will multiply in the refrigerator over time and could cause illness.)

A Trip through China Refrigeration Expo 2016

April 7~9, 2016 the 26th China Refrigeration Expo was held in Beijing. In this blog I will take you see through the event. Regarding the displayed products introduction, I will post in another blog.

A good way of finding refrigeration supplier in China - China Refrigeration 2016

This is a professional HVACR event in China, similar like the Euroshop trade fair in Germany every four years, China Refrigeration Expo is one of the most professional refrigeration event in China. 

The event will be held from April 7~9 at New China International Exhibition Center in BeijingBeijing this year, the location is below:

In this expo you can find Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, Heating and Ventilation, Frozen Food Processing, Packaging and Storage and of course our professions -- compressor racks for industry refrigeration.

Different from last year, other than ordinary Freon compressor racks, pump station and condensing unit, we are exhibiting these high light products below:

1. R404a with CO2 secondary refrigerant inverter type compressor rack. This is a very good solution for -35 deg C fast frozen use. It uses R404a/R22 to cool down the CO2 and change it into liquid, then pump liquid CO2 to evaporators in cold rooms. Because the CO2 side does not contain oil, the refrigeration performance of the system will be very stable, only have 2 deg C temperature vibration, since the temperature is this stable, the evaporator is very hard to get frozen block, so it does not need to defrost frequently, almost once a week. The system uses inverter type Kobelco brand two stage screw compressor. It can adjust it's frequency according to the system needs.  Different from normal compressor with external inverter, this compressor can both decrease it's speed and also enlarge it's frequency and bring up it's speed to above 3000 rpm, so that it has wider output. The working CO2 pressure is only around 7~8kg, because CO2 is much much cheaper than freon and is not toxic as ammonia, This solution is a little bit more expensive than freon system, but can reduce more than 20% electricity, compared with ammonia system, it's high effeciency, simple and cheaper.
2. Heat pump is one of our new product. With R134a Fusheng brand compressor, it can produce 80 deg C hot water and 3 deg C cold water at the same time. It's designed for poultry feather treatment.
3. Small screw compressor is a new trend in the market, this market we are exhibiting 30hp*3 screw type compressor racks, this will be a very good equipment for small cold stores.
